After the disappointment of the Pullar Cup being cancelled, Rangers women re-rearranged their catch up game with Ngongotaha on Sunday and finished the season on a high.
The two teams had a good battle in the first half, which ended at 1 - 1. Rangers had to cope with several injuries and lost the dependable defender Sarah Boyce to a leg injury. However the team put together some excellent football to come away with a 3 - 1 win. The goal scorers were player of the day Kiahli Ibbetson (2) and Janie Paling.
The result rounds out a good season for Rangers, who finished second behind Kawerau in the bottom half split of the league.
