Rotorua White 3 Rangers women 0

Alignments Plus Plains Rangers women had an awesome game away to Rotorua United White, even if the weather was not on their side. Rangers had a good first half, with some great shots on goal from Kat de Bruin, Gillian Green and Kate Simons but without luck. The chances continued in the second half, where Kate Simons had a couple more strikes at goal, managing to hit the cross bar. It was a good effort by everyone, even though the field had to be changed at the last minute due to surface water on the field they had set up on. Congratulations to Carrie Fynn for getting player of the day. She had a great game in the back line. Every time Carrie got knocked down, she got back up and carried on playing. BIG ups to her. The final score was 2 – 0 to Rotorua.
This Saturday, Rangers men are at home to Whakatane Town, with a 2 30 kick off. On the Sunday, Rangers women are away to Tauranga City.
